Established in Brisbane in 1968 as Michael Bryce & Associates Architects and later as Bryce Design Consultants, today, Minale Bryce and Partners provides a broad spectrum design service to Government, Institutions, Professional and Commercial Organisations, sporting bodies and events throughout Australia and internationally. The design of corporate image strategy, urban design, industrial and commercial graphics, corporate identity programmes, signage systems, interior design, and ceremony is central to the practice which is now one of the most experienced graphic communication consultancies in Australia. In 1988, the practice of Bryce Design, already well established in Australia, merged with the famous international practice of Minale Tattersfield and Partners based in London. The practice now has access to a wide range of design expertise on a daily basis with offices in London, Paris, Milan, Brussels, Casablanca, Osaka, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Brisbane and Sydney. The staff of Minale Bryce provide qualified graduate graphic, industrial and interior designers with associated services in the fields of architecture, planning, urban design, public relations, marketing, market research, interior, exhibition, environmental, and fashion design, together with design management. The practice maintains fully staffed and equipped offices in Sydney and Brisbane offering fully serviced facilities. The practice has won numerous awards for architecture, environmental design and graphics and is represented in publications and exhibitions here and overseas. The work of the practice in corporate identity design has been prolific and of a nationally recognised level. The firm’s work is found in international publications and books on graphics including UK Design, Domus, Graphic Design in Japan and World Logotypes. In 1989, Minale Tattersfield merged with Design Strategy, Paris forming the Minale Tattersfield, Design Strategy Group - ranked as one of the worlds Top Ten Design Networks with a history of achievement and innovation across many continents. In 1992 the company created the renowned Sydney 2000 Olympic Bid identity that has captured the imagination of many Australians and was seen across the world. The firm was appointed as Principal Design Advisors to SOCOG for its work on Olympic projects from 1991 through to 2000. In 2001, the firm changed its name to Minale Bryce and Partners Pty Limited, trading as Minale Bryce Design Strategy.
