Stanwell is developing technology to produce smarter, cleaner power—combining two technologies, Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), or Geosequestration. The colours reflect the positive environmental impact this innovative technology has on the planet today and in the future. Minale Bryce designed the logo, sub-graphics, identity guidelines and website look.

As sponsors of the UDIA's (Qld) initiative—EnviroDevelopment—we designed the scientifically based branding system devised to make it easier for purchasers to recognise and, select environmentally sustainable homes and lifestyles. A sprouting plant represents the environment, growth and development, and allows for the integration of colour coded icons representing the accreditation criteria of the program.
The carpet designed by our interiors team for the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, shows Danish company ‘Ege’ can reproduce great custom carpet designs and care about the environment. Ege has established a superior environmental policy to control the impact of their factories on the environment. The plants are registered under the EU-regulation EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme).

The annual PICA (Print Industries Craftsmanship Awards were held on 24 November 2003 at the Sofitel in Brisbane. Congratulations to Bruce Thomas (pictured) of Fine Print for taking home 3 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze awards. This haul included silver (embellishment) and bronze (annual reports) for the 2005 CS Energy Annual Report designed by Minale Bryce.

The beginning of spring saw an exciting event hosted by Minale Bryce Design Strategy. Refresh was an opportunity for guests to take a close-up look at our fresh approach to design in the surrounds of our creative environment. To celebrate, the studio was painted a splash of mint green, Fire Works Art Gallery provided a new collection, and refreshing green cocktails were enjoyed by all!

Minale Bryce has the pleasure to introduce Louise Eastwood, our new Prinicipal, Graphic Design in our Sydney office. She has worked in the design profession for over 15 years and sits on the DIA NSW council. Michail Kowal, Principal, Graphic Design in Brisbane has been elected as Vice President of AGDA, Qld. Our Chairman, Michael Bryce has been elected to the DIA's Hall of Fame to add to his many accolades.
