In this Scribe we feature two event identities that have already achieved a global reach. The
ICC World Twenty 20, launched
in India on August 30 and the
Asia Pacific Screen Awards, a Queensland initiative, launched
in Cannes in May. We also reveal the identities of two innovative projects: CFX and Northbridge.

ICC World Twenty20
  ICC World Twenty 20

The International Cricket Council and Whitestone Sports (UK) briefed Minale Bryce to create a youthful and edgy design for the inaugural ICC World Twenty 20 to be held this year in South Africa. The radical deconstructive style of the ICC World Twenty 20 logo is youthful, friendly, alternative and unmistakably cricket.
The event trophy, designed by Minale Bryce, was recently unveiled in Dubai by Chief Executive of the ICC Malcolm Speed. Made of silver, gold and rhodium, the trophy presents a technology-to-sport image through its cut through eliptical sections.
The World Twenty 20 Tournament starts in South Africa on 11 September.

APSA identity   Asia Pacific Screen Awards
The 2007 Cannes Film Festival was the launch pad for the Asia Pacific Screen Awards, an initiative of Queensland Events and the Queensland Government. The awards, under the auspices of UNESCO and endorsed by CNN International, will showcase the best of film making, production and acting across the Asia-Pacific region. The mission of the APSA is ...
The courage to explore and tell our stories – to push the creative boundaries – to inform and entertain – to better understand our respective cultures and differences.
The APSA visual identity comprises the symbol and guidelines for typography, colour and subgraphics. The symbol is formed of a 10-pointed layer of transparent triangular shapes that represent dynamic movement, cultural diversity, and rating of films.

NorthBridge   NorthBridge
  NorthBridge
NorthBridge is a premium commercial office building being developed in the emerging North Quarter precinct of the Brisbane CBD by Ross Nielson Properties. Minale Bryce worked in collaboration with leading architects, Donovan Hill and development manager Chris Slack, to create an identity that reflected the signature façade patterning.

  CFX
Award winning, Australian property group, Citimark has signed an agreement with Japanese architectural and development company, Fox & Company KK to fast track the acquisition and development of properties in the world’s second largest economy. The venture, to be called CFX, will be one of only a handful of foreign development companies established in Japan.

Central Park Estate   Central Park Estate
  Central Park Estate
Revy Bryce-Browning has been working with Devine Ltd and Devine Communities to develop the estate's overall design scheme, colour palette and branding concept for their new Central Park Estate in Brimbank, Victoria. In collaboration with our Melbourne office, Nexus Designs, a rich environmental colour scheme was devised with an autumn leaves theme with the slogan 'grow with us at Central Park'.
